Floyd offered Manny 50/50 he walked away .

Manny is the B side and should just accept terms and fight , HE ALWAYS WANTS MORE , ALWAYS A COUNTER OFFER .

So Canelo would have to come down to 150, not 152. I call that avoiding risk.

Might as well say the same for Floyd since Canelo had to come to 152 and not stay at 154.

And then who did he pick...Algeri. If you say Algeri is a bigger risk to Manny @ 144, then you lose all credibility. Maidana is way more powerful then Algeri, and he came in last time 160-165 with a gang of KO's.

Yet you're forgetting Algieri has the kind of style that many people say Manny has problems with and that Algieri is a naturally taller guy. Whether you want to believe it or not, fighting against a stylistic challenge is taking a risk. The same can't be said for Canelo or Maidana when it comes to Floyd (though there is some hope in Maidana's awkwardness but only if he gets better at it).
