Algieri sounds real confident and does pose some style problems. That, plus his looks and background make this fight intriguing? Except that he's going to be up against a crafty, grizzled vet who has seen it all already. Yes, Pacquiao is slowing but he was hungrier and just plain better than a Bradley who fought an excellent fight against Marquez. Manny has plenty left in the tank and Algieri is going to find that out the hard way.

This fight is going to be Algieri's to lose, if he doesn't win its his own fault he has all the advantages over an aging veteran and if he fails to deliver he has nobody to blame but himself, how can such a tall guy with reach and speed on his seed lose to a short giant dwarf with T rex arms who no longer has the power or foot speed he once had?

Algieri's height matched with his boxing ability and movement are going to make for an interesting style clash against Pacquiao. I don't think Pacman will stop him based off the fact that he just doesn't KO guys anymore so who knows, this one could go either way to me.

See. This needs to be said. Manny's a laidback and very calm guy. Kinda like Bruce Lee( his idol). If you didn't know any better, you'd think he's not serious about anything, really. Then the bell rings!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha. There is nothing in his performances that says he is washed up, finished, glass-jawed, or any of the things I read daily. You'd have to be stuck under an object to think that the violent nature that made this man, is completely gone! Did you not watch Roidquez 4? The clinic he put on against Rios?
