Nah. Berto's been overpaid his whole career. If Berto deserves it then Upsher should've gotten paid top dollar as well, for taking more punishment. One guy shouldn't get all the dough due to connections and the cans brought in to take beatings should be paid more. You're going to value one guy who gets hit because he's not as good as advertised, solely on who is? That's wrong.

Yeah that is the one reason why I am able to contain myself. Berto is in the tail end of his career and deserves a decent payday. What he lacks in being a top player, he does not lack in heart.

The big picture though still bugs me. It is the trends as of late that make my blood boil.

This is sorta my thing. Ain't got a problem with a fighter making money, but there's a limited pool of funds. Hard to comprehend a kinda 'B' level guy getting $400K to fight a nobody but it is what it is.

Lately it's been hard to tell if this site is for boxing fans or whiny, jealous b*tches. If you scan the current threads you'll find out that folks here must approve of a boxer's looks, their wife or girlfriend, the way they dress and the cars they drive. Also fans are not happy if a particular boxer wins too easy or has to dig down to overcome a game opponent.

Now fans are not happy with how much money certain boxers make and actually pretend to be concerned with a major cable network's budget...........**** is sad. After reading comments around here it's understandable why most professional fighters don't really care what so called fans think.

Theres nothing wrong about complaining about overpriced mismatches. Its how network budgets get tapped, and subscribers suffer. But theres a whole class of posters that will eat any **** Haymon serves up and call it tasty.
