Which Floyd comments on his reason for giving Maidana a rematch, IN THE ARTICLE, RELATED TO THIS THREAD... where he specifically contradicts his long time stance on who he fights and why.

None of that matters either... He's fighting Maidana again because he only has 3 fights left on his contract, he knows he can beat Maidana.. and this is essentially one way to fill one of the spots whilst making a **** ton of money.

There's a lot less risk involved when you already fought someone, you already know who they are and how they fight and how you did/will fare. That's why he's fighting Maidana again.

Right but you were referring to Floyd saying the fight want close when you said "so why are you fighting him then" and said it was a contradiction. Or were you not?

The Cotto fight was much tougher then the Maidana fight..Cotto boxed very well and brought the dog out of Floyd..that is a classic fight...now that you mentioned it i will rewatch it today
