anything more than the 8-4 is just laughable just like the judge that gave mayweather 10-2 is laughable.

Floyd is being overly humble now. The fight was definitely close I gave Floyd 4 rounds and a fifth even. The Castillo and DLH fights were less close I only gave Floyd 3 rounds in the first Castillo fight and 4 vs DLH but losing the other 8 BADLY

I don't think Mayweather's being honest. If he truly believed the first fight wasn't close, he wouldn't rematch Maidana. There is something that he wants to prove to the fans and more importantly, to himself.

              Smh.........

Floyd won the fight 7-5. 115-113. So, he won by two rounds. He adjusted the second half of the fight and outworked Maidana when he got tired. Floyd is unrealistic to say he won 9-3 and that's a shutout. No. A shutout is when your opponent doesn't win a single round. You know, how Sweet Pea used to do guys. You went life and death with a B Level guy whose feet are stuck in cement and you got embarrassed!

I'm a huge Mayweather fan, and although I believe he did in fact beat Maidana the first time, to say it was a shut-out is a little absurd. This fight wasn't the easiest to score to begin with, so I'm not going to sit here and do a round-by-round analysis, but the win in my opinion is undeniable. Whether it was 7-5,8-4 or 9-3(the way he puts is), a W is a W. Maidana came in with a good game plan, sort of, he just wasn't able to sustain it enough to win, and there is no shame in that, End of story.

Oh and to the guy who say's the Canelo fight was a lot closer than people think, well that's a little absurd as well. Canelo was outclassed, plain and simple.

So why da rematch? Fight could've been scored a legit draw, unlike the Canelo fiasco. Smh.

Whitaker went life and death with B Level fighters swell at times especially late in his career like Floyd is.
