Same here. As one poster stated...Floyd gets too much credit and you pretty much have to dominate him in order to win the round in some judges eyes.

Even in the Canelo fight. Yes Floyd won but it wasnt the "blowout" that he or many people made it out to be. I had to rewatch the match because it was my bday and I was pissy drunk. Upon rewatching it I thought I was going to see the 2nd coming of Floyd/Gatti based on what the Floyd fanatics were saying. Now Floyd did indeed win but when you look at it from a round by round basis, Floyd was just eeking out each round and winning by just a few more landed punches than Canelo. They were all pretty close rounds with Floyd slightly edging out Canelo. Was it a clear decisive win? Sure. Was it a schooling/blowout/whitewash as some people described it? No.

It was a close fight floyd, but if i was one of the judges i wouldve given the nod to you too. No doubt maidana did more damage though and dont deny it. There were a lot of rounds that you won close but clear, a couple maybe where u completely dominated and the rest of the rounds were close where Maidana isnt dominating but he was in the round giving you a hard time. Its a little bit short for the close fight clear winner decision. Pac-bradley 2 is a close fight clear winner fight.

Overall no but I had Maidana up 4-1 after 5 rounds before Floyd figured him out and cruised the rest of the way. The first half of the fight felt more dominant than the Broner fight without the knockdowns.
Doesn't matter, Floyd has already taken precautions (hand picked ref and gloves) to ensure another UD or DQ win for him. Won't even bother paying attention to this one next week.

I dont care wha anyone says. The Mayweather fans have been trying to sing a diferent tune to the fight since it ended. There were way to many swing rds for it not to be a 7-5 either way type if fight. Youcould easily argue Maidana won 8, 12 also. He definitely won 10. It wasnt just a first half fight.

But none of that matters now. The fight is 5 days away. Sing all the tunes you want. There is no hiding now.

Floyd 8-4.....it took Maidana twice as many punches and lots of sloppy/dirty tactics to land same amount - where's the debate here??...
As a fan I'm looking forward to the rematch - mainly to see another good fight- but also to see how effective Floyd will be at this age where some feel he's beginning to not be able to push these larger framed fighters off of him the way he used to.....Floyd by UD
