Rematches are extremely rare outside of TR. The Haymon environment is conducive to produce fertile ground for pu55ies. It's not like fans are getting better options. The Salsa fight was just too much to bear. But I don't mind getting Broner vs Matthysse if Garcia continue to reject the rematch.

There is nothing wrong with the rematch. If it happens good for
Mathysse, he has a chance to redeem himself. But right now, it wouldnt do anything good for garcia, theres a lot of bigger opportunities out there and itd be understandable if he chases for them. Its a bit to early to say matthysse would beat him now in a rematch, for there was no drastic change really. As long as they do well somewhere down the line it would be inevitable. The only thing matthyse fans have over garcia is because hes choosing guys like salsa which clearly matthyse rematch is much better. But well see whom he fights next.

If somebody called you out would you look for reasons not to accept?
Seriously, so many fighters have Danny on their radar and He fought Salka. How can you say that He was more worthy of a shot than Lucas???
Fighters already have enough excuses to duck fights, without the fans assisting them.

There's nothing wrong with it, but Matthysse and the crazy people saying Garcia is a chicken if he doesn't want a rematch are being ridiculous.
Believe me, I'm a Matthysse fan and I want the rematch, but I understand there are better fights for Danny out there. If Danny owes anyone a rematch, it's Mauricio Herrera.

Rematches usually happen for only a few reasons.
The decision was unjust.
The fight could have gone either way.
The fight was epic and was stopped because of an injury, like Vazquez/Marquez.
Time passed and the loser of the first fight was still the best fighter the winner can fight.
There was a rematch clause.
None of that applies to Garcia/Matthysse II at the moment. If Matthysse keeps winning and builds the hype back up, then Garcia/Matthysse II might happen.

only people that dont want this fight to happen are garcia fans afraid that he might lose
this rematch should have taken place right after the first fight but garcia ran with it after winning against one eyed opponent by a point, after that his handlers felt he deserved someone fed to him infront of his hometown so he pulled out herrera who really had done nothing but eek out a win over provodnikov ages ago, danny was suppossed to wipe him out, after that went horribly wrong, they tried again, with salka, it's been too long since this guy has faced anyone already, a year just trying to pick the right cherry, he needs to fight matthysse now, molina & ortiz> dierry jean and santana

Matthysse just said he's not in it for the title, he want's it for the retribution.
Some people just cannot understand the loss was more mentally exhausting for him than physically and he just wants to put that right.
Stop being a bunch of whiners and let him have his chance to put things right.
Danny Garcia is a b1tch and it's obvious, he went from fighting a tune up in Herrera to fighting a Super Featherweight in Salka! Justify that? You cant.

I don't know how many people actually noticed but Mattthyse's corner never once put an enswell on his eye to take some of the swelling down.
I think if he had a more competent cutman in this fight he would have won. The cutman was using his f**king fingers at times

Nothing wrong with a rematch.
I'd personally like to see Matthysse/Broner next, but if Garcia decides to continue fighting the Rod Salka's of the world, there's just no way Garcia fans can justify them being better options than a rematch.
Garcia could move up, or go for a bigger fight over Matthysse, nobody should have any problem with that but i guess we'll have to wait and see who his next opponent will be.
As for the Herrera rematch talk, he deserves one.....but it's not a bigger fight than Matthysse.
