Look, if Garcia moves up, it's fine. He beat Lucas and he'll be moving on to new challenges. But if he's staying at 140, why would ANYONE want him to fight Rod Salkas. Lucas is clearly number 2 at 140.

Fight Lucas or move up. It's not like there are other fights available given that he's with Showtime and Haymon

well you seem to forget the terrible reffing, low blowing more than andrew golota, and a rabbit punch knockdown that shouldn't have counted(garcia loses on the cards without it) wouldn't you want to see a rematch of a fight that was won on a blown call? did garcia win given the circumstances that happened? yes. should the circumstances have taken place? no. rematch would clear up any doubts and make garcia a lot more money than fighting a bum like salka but he doesn't want it. does he hate money or is he scared of losing? which one is it?

he's with haymon. that's enough right there. if haymon thought garcia could beat matthysse again he would make the fight but he's matching him soft and making less money so garcia can keep winning and get a mayweather fight which is where haymon really makes the big money. he's a smart conman.

Why is everybody bashing lucas for wanting a rematch wit danny ? The guy already destroyed the # 2-3 guy of the devision (Peterson and Ortiz ) and had a close fight with the champ himself ....

Rematching Lucas Matthysse doesn't do much for Danny's carreer. Him unifying with Peterson and becoming the undisputed light welterweight champ is far more attractive. That or a fight with Broner. Both Lamont/Danny and Broner/Danny are interesting style matchups in my opinion. Sorry guys, Danny already beat Lucas fair and square. Trust me, Danny's next fight is not going to be against a Salka type of opponent.
