No it wouldn't, but it would be missing a huge portion of history on it. If Frampton never fights Rigo it would be a shame in all honesty but I truly believe Frampton is steadily preparing himself for their meeting at some point in his career. The only downside is Rigo's age, at 34 this month he isn't a spring chicken.

Frampton can fight anyone he wishes but his legacy at 122 will ultimately be decided in a fight with the divisions ruler. Everything else accomplished is secondary and almost irrelevant in comparison.

So facing another champion in Leo to unify himself is irrelevant now? If he does so he would be toe to toe with Rigo in terms of "ruling the division". I agree with the second paragraph but the first one is belittling everything a fighter accomplishes over fandom. If Frampton were to beat Quigg,Avalos and Leo and for some reason misses out on Rigo, that would still mean he has 3 great names, it doesn't render those names obsolete simply because he didn't face Rigo.

It would be some achievement beating Leo but in the grand scheme of things in pales in comparison to fighting Rigo. Even if he were to beat Leo that in no way shape or form declares him an equal. Ofcourse he would be in a better position, but Rigo is the lineal champ.

Once again, the names you mentioned, they are decent names, but classes below Rigo. This is where my point being made is that his legacy will be questioned if he doesn't fight Rigo. Fair point you would think.
