Rigondeaux is the ultimate test but he brings **** to the table in terms of money or drawing power. Hopefully he signs with Warren and gets built into a big star in the UK so the Frampton fight can eventually happen and be worth it for both fighters.
      Kiko is elite for sure.

      At 122 atleast.

I don't see it. He was literally outboxed twice by a bin man.

I'd have liked to see Frampton fight Mares. That would have been huge. The division's not as hot as it was a couple of years ago.

It appears as if both Carls are perfectly content with being 2nd in their divisions. I don't blame them, they're both trying to make money.

Munroe was a decent fighter and you have to consider Martinez was green then, still a Euro level fighter. Plus they were competitive fights.

He heaps and bounds compared to that fighter in comparison to today.

Fought Dunne, Romero, Hasegwa, Mathebula, Frampton twice and Ndlovu and the only person to beat him in dominant fashion is Frampton the second time.

No it wouldn't, but it would be missing a huge portion of history on it. If Frampton never fights Rigo it would be a shame in all honesty but I truly believe Frampton is steadily preparing himself for their meeting at some point in his career. The only downside is Rigo's age, at 34 this month he isn't a spring chicken.

I agree Dirk. Plus, he has been chasing Leo for sometime now and Leo keeps finding a way to ignore Frampton. Now that he has a belt he has a voice, unless Leo wants to ignore the fact that a unification bout would be on the line.

I also agree with your 2nd paragraph. Rigo doesn't bring much to the table in those terms but he overcompensates in skill and one of the best names to have on a resume. I know folks in the UK respect fighters with actual talent rather than controversy but with Rigo's limitations in terms of the English language as well as his late age for a competitor of the sport, it would be a tough feat for anyone to make him a draw at this point. Regardless I hope the fight goes down, I'm sure Frampton will be prepared in due time.

Very impressed with Frampton yesterday. Rigo probably stomps him, but Rigo probably stomps everyone, that's nothing to be ashamed of. Otherwise, there's no one Frampton can't beat.

Do I really need to waste a post on why it's different? You know and I know so why did you make that pointless retort?
