'Solid' world champions with multiple losses actually to fighters who aren't all that, Rigo clowned an elite multiple weight champion like he was a nobody.

I like Gonzales a lot and have been singing his praises for some time but fans are going overboard on this win. It didn't cement ****.
Where was the praise when he spanked a much better fighter in Estrada?
No praise because Estrada wasn't a titleholder or a name at 108. Not until after losing to Roman did Estrada challenge Viloria in his following fight and established himself as a threat and champion.

No way. Everyone that "ducks" Rigo is considered an automatic win for him according to his fanboys.

no shoulderroll i dont think so....hes at the door but i dont think hes there yet imo...although i do respect your opinion, for me hes not there yet.....if he were to beat estrada again i would say he is top 10...

Did I ever say Frampton was ahead of Santa Cruz?

Frampton has far less fights and hasn't fought for a title yet.

It's a shame Santa Cruz didn't back up his talk of wanting to face Frampton.

Rigondeaux is arguably the best fighter in the world. I only have Mayweather ahead because of the greater depth of his resume.

The win and performance against Donaire is leaps ahead of anything Roman Gonzalez has done.
Nothing against rigo but I never felt Donaires did much. He arguably fought guys much smaller than him up too the rigo fight. Roman definitely belongs in the top 10

great point! ive stressed it time and time again that estrada is a different fighter now then when they fought the first time... i dont have gonzalez in my top 10 but hes there and if he were to beat estrada again then i would have no problem putting him in the top 10 p4p... in the divisional rankings in every boxing site at 112 estrada is ahead of gonzalez its estrada 1a, and gonzalez 1b...

fair enough there are idiots on here that would suggest that is the case... they might fight next so we will just have to wait and see.

That's fair. I do agree that Donaire is the best opponent either of them has fought.

Besides that win, though, Rigo's list of foes is pretty thin.

No problem, it's cool if you disagree. I think he is top 10 already but we'll probably get that Estrada rematch soon anyway (assuming he ins tomorrow) which should remove any of your doubts.

it would erase any doubts that i have... this is a superfight equivalent to carbajal/gonzalez and lopez/alvarez imo

Segura vs. Gonzalez would be another one of my dream fights (Segura-Tyson Marquez was the other and that 100% lived up to my expectations).
