What a silly comment. Haters? Knowledgeable boxing fan I call them. Cotto would NOT beat Trout again. Why not fight Manny again? Why not? Manny would kill him AGAIN. That would be it. No more busy fights while they are waiting to haul Cotto off to the neurosurgeon. He's DONE for any competitive MEANINGFUL fights. It's greed and Roach's retirement fund that's the focus here.

That's fine. Cotton can't beat Canelo, and after that fight happens, Canelo will man up to Gennady for an epic war.
Didn't GGG say he'll fight anyone from 154-168?

Cotto would not beat Trout again. He would beat him for the first time since Cotto lost the first fight.

Why not fight Pacquiao? Maybe because they have the same trainer.

Sounds to me like he may be ready to vacate his belts, he's got a mandatory to face rubio/ggg winner which isn't a money fight for him. If he plans to vacate I really wish he'd do it before those two fighters meet each other in the ring that way they can fight for the belts and be handed a mandatory of their own. I don't have an issue with Cotto trying to get his money I just hope he doesn't try to hold the belts hostage to get a big money fight versus Canelo who should have to earn his shot at those belts too.

"I'm comfortable whatever weight GGG is not in"
To me, Cotto's middleweight win starting to look cheap. There is no denying Sergio was a shell of his former self in that fight.

No matter what he chooses, people will complain. He worked his whole career to get to this point. He should enjoy it.

Cotto already fought clottey and ge didn't exactly dominate instead was given a gift decision
