Why do people keep saying Cotto/Mayweather II is going to happen, when Cotto is contracted with Arum? Is Mayweather suddenly going to deal with Arum after he kept going on and on about not fighting Pac because of Arum.

If Mayweather fights Cotto with Arum being involed, Mayweather will cement his legacy as the biggest duck in the history of boxing.
Clown, cotto is not contracted with TR or Arum in any way. Just uses TR to promote his fights, same way Floyd uses GBP. Is on a fight - to-fight basis. Cotto could easily have GBP or TMT promote his next fight for a Floyd rematch. In addition, TMT just received their promotional license is NY, so a possible cottovsFloyd rematch is very likely at MSG where Floyd has never fought and has always wanted to.

Thats actually incorrect, the winner of the fight will be the mandatory to Cotto's title. The WBC will allow Cotto to make two voluntary defenses before he must fight his mandatory or vacate. If you think WBC wont sanction Canelo and/or Mayweather before GGG then you haven't been paying attention.

Nobody answered you because it is pretty much common knowledge that Cotto is not contracted with Arum, Cotto has no promoter. Cotto works with Arum in the same capacity that he worked with Golden Boy. He can take a fight against Mayweather at any time with out Arums involvement. Cotto is alos not signed with HBO so he can jump ship to showtime when ever he'd like.

So aside from being incorrect, your statement comes off as a rant against Mayweather rather then a legit question on a Cotto forum.

the middleweight title is officially being held hostage, and will be defended against junior middleweights and welterweights.

let the reign of cotto begin.
