  • Comments Thread For: Hopkins: I Won't Get a Scratch on Me From Kovalev!

WBA/IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins, 49-years-old, is not afraid of the punching power associated with WBO champion Sergey Kovalev. They will battle on November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Hopkins will look to outbox the stronger, more aggressive Kovalev. Only 2 of Kovalev's 26 opponents have been able to go the distance. Hopkins is not only predicting a win, and going the distance, but also says he won't have a scratch on him when it's over.

EPO and PEDS have me fighting way past my prime.
I'm going to hug Kovalev harder then Big Dunn and the Floyd ball-washers hug Floyd's balls and as soon as Kovalev gets free, I will throw myself on the floor and call foul at every chance.

            Pure speculation on your part.

But since we're speculating...Kathy Duva said that it's the commission's job to regulate drug testing and basically washed her hands of it. Makes me wonder how natural Kovalev's KO streak really is?

I'm taking the advice in your signature, that's why I have nothing to say about your idiotic comment

The thing about kovalev is he explodes with flurries of big shots, not sure how Hopkins smothering style will work out against a guy as strong as kov.

I have really think Hopkins might be in deep **** come fight night.

still wouldn't be at all surprised if Hopkins took it on points though he really is a freak of nature and he deserves big time props for taking on such a beast this late on In his great career

Hopkins is good but as if Kovalev wouldn't knock him out!

Hopkins is so right smh. This dude Kovalev is just ordinary and I suspect the old man is going to expose it for the world to see.
