I like this fight, I really do. Clottey is a much better boxer than Kirkland is and will provide a tough, tough challenge for Canelo. He won't run, he has great defense, and will hurt you if he lands on you. Plus, Clottey will probably be bigger than Canelo in the ring on fight night.

I don't get why people hype Kirkland up, sure he has KO power but his defense is to block punches with his face. Canelo would send him to the hospital in short order and Clottey would pick his shots until Kirkland took a knee from the body shots.

Clottey at 154 is a much stronger boxer than he was at 147. In the Pac fight, Joshua landed few punches sure but he had Pac's face busted up and bleeding with minimal effort. The guy has power and will hurt you if he lands and if you tire out in front of him, you are going to pay.

Right, get this through your head, Kirkland is a punching bag and Canelo had Floyd afraid to ask for that rematch. Why run away from another easy 2 million PPV purchases? Everyone is entitled to their hopes and dreams, let Canelo be a bum in those realities because in the reality that I live in, the one that has actual fights on the TV, Canelo seems to be far from a "bum".

at least kirkland would throw back and has the power to make it interesting.

Go back and watch the Pac fight, guy is showing up for a payday and nothing more.

Don't love the fight but Canelo has fought four straight fights against either top guys or dangerous competition so no problem with it. A stay busy fight with bigger ones to come next May.
