I agree with you on this. BoxingScene is a complete site (accurate + unbiased news reporting unlike FloydHype etc + forums with a huge user base).

Recently when Broner tweeted/instagrammed that he would be facing Lamont Peterson in October...almost all other online boxing media (other news sites, forums, YouTube channels, tweeters etc) went with that...BoxingScene was the only one which swiftly reported that they spoke with GoldenBoy & Broner is doing a prank & isn't fighting Lamont.

You absolutely sure about that? Both of ya'll..funny that the WBC order Cotto to fight the winner of Canelo/Rubio but that ain't been on here and it's been how many days now? That is the point we made ..... except it is about the gloves but also the fighter who uses them!

Remember that Cotto fought with 10oz gloves not 8oz

Only reason Floyd doesn't allow the gloves with Maidana is due to his KO ratio being high. Remember that they promoted Maidana as a KO artist. According to Floyd, the risk is too high! ....... and if you remove that from Maidana, his chances of winning the fight goes down substantially.

Just for clarification at no point has Maidana himself said he's agreed to use any glove, Garcia has said it and so has ellerbe. Maidana is training with Powerlock but that doesn't mean he's ok with using them in the match. Considering the new WBC judgement he can have the maker send the gloves to NSAC up to two days before the fight and if they approve the gloves he can use them in the fight. That ruling was just made this week as the new protocol for championship bouts. If Floyd doesn't not have the gloves in writing the WBC could potentially allow Maidana the use of his MX gloves whether Floyd wants them or not. Just because Boxingscene isn't keeping you up to date does not mean this is the only boxing site you should be reading. No one website covers every article in boxing.

you can look at it another way: Maidana is so confident, hes willing to make 1.5 million from the coward and agree not to use punchers gloves. This sht should be illegal though. Comes too damn close to taking a loss for money.

Maidana has 31 KOs in 35 fights using those gloves with very little padding in the knuckles. How many KO's would he have if he did not have that unfair advantage? How many of those past opponents would have objected to the use of gloves that gave him an unfair advantage if they had the chance? How many of those past opponents had the power that Mayweather has to prevent Maidana from using gloves that gave him an unfair advantage?

You can't answer any of these questions, so I will answer them for you. 1. a lot less than 31 KOs. 2. We will never know. 3. NONE

Anyways... Sports Science should test out all these gloves and see what the power difference is. There obviously has to be difference since theyre made out of different materials and every boxer has their own preference.

Why would PAC fan not agree with Marquez on this one? Just because Marquez had to use "help" from memo it doesn't mean their gonna hate on all of Marquez opinion.
