Yet he still knocked him out with a body shot. That's all that counts.

I understand- you think Hopkins is too smart and too ring savvy for Kovalev. OKAY.

What I'm saying is I believe Kovalev will win this fight. Lets see how you react November 1st.

        Exactly.

You can be a good poster when you want, but the trolling is why you get responses from me like the one in your sig.

        Cheers

        (P.S. I won't respond with a YT video of Hop-Dawson.)

He isn't a face first brawler but his skills are vastly and ridiculously overrated by his fans. IMO nothing so special outside his power but I already stated this and I already made a bet with King for the Hop-Kovalev fight. So my statement is clear, we will se... If you take away Kovalev's power he never going to be able to outbox an elite level boxer and an elite level boxer will probably take away his power.
Pros: cut the ring well, has big power, pretty accurate
Cons: pretty slow, mediocre defense, mediocre/poor balance, supectabel chin

Question: How good is his stamina? I think we will see on the 8th of November.

Stamina is his only question mark. IMO

Either way, I do remember you said you will give Kovalev credit if he beats Hop so lets wait til November!

We don't know that. Stop bullshitting.

Maidana's boxing skills did him so well against Kotelnik and Alexander, eh?
Knock it off. Maidana has nothing to do with this thread. Stop trying to make this into a my-favorite-fighter-has-a-bigger-dick-than your-favorite-fighter thing.

Besides, Maidana is better than Kovalev.

Maidana has overcome adversity multiple times; Kovalev has not.

Maidana has multiple wins against top fighters in his weight class. Kovalev does not.

Maidana has an effective defense that is tried and true against the top fighters in his weight class. Kovalev gets tagged, cut, and marked up. Chino has never left a fight badly lumped up.

Maidana can go twelve rounds like nothing. Kovalev has not.

Maidana is a crafty technician brawler with effective head movement. Kovalev is a puncher who keeps his head in the same place.

                Kobralev.

That's awesome. I absolutely can imagine Kovalev in the corner and his trainer telling him to sweep the leg.

I've also read that Kovalev wasn't even knocked down in the Boone fight, and hardly anyone else has first hand reports and I bet you just made up the "many" believing Boone was robbed bit.
