What makes Kovalev special?

He didn't get dropped, he got tripped. He had a 175lb man standing on his foot and took a punch to the head. If anything, that showed how good his chin is.

Have a 175lb man stand on Floyd, Marquez or any other boxer out there with one of their foots.... And they probably get KOd.

I suggest you learn a little more about boxing. Kovalev has the goods.

This is pretty much it. I don't think he has a bad chin or anything and he has some good skills. He's not just a brawler like some people say. But his balance is going to be a huge factor in the hopkins fight. Hopkins has often dropped guys by catching them off balance.

He doesn't have to box back wards. But moving backwards is not the only way to display "boxing skills"

This is a man with over 300 amateur wins, you don't win that many high level amateur fights with no boxing skills. Furthermore, timing, range and distance, footwork and quality/variety of punches are all aspects of "boxing skills"

Kovalev doesn't have bad balance. This has been a been misconception since his last fight.

He had a 175lb mans foot ON TOP of his foot.... While getting punched. That would knock ANY boxer off balance

Sergey Kovalev pretty much has no weaknesses, he is one of the most complete fighters in the sport based on his style. His only questjon mark is his stamina, can he go past 8 rounds? Maybe we will see in November.

If he can? Well.... Let's just say, no one in the world will be beating Krusher Kovalev.

Aduckis Stevenson ran away from him, Chad Dawson would got murdered by him so what more do you want? Chances are he will hurt Hopkins pretty bad too, he has real power not that hyped bum knocking out power.
