I like both fighter's and although I salute chino for him constantly giving zero ****s, right is right and wrong is wrong walk into the ring and may not walk out the same, even worse people die in the ring or after the fight..............

Chino should be thankful he's getting a rematch, not to mention the MMA fouls.............
I don't think they where altered, but team Chino did mess up because they where trying on the gloves before the picking of the gloves process, and the gloves where already broken in, if Robert just used the newly wrapped gloves instead of showing Floyd the broken in glove he might of been using the MX gloves now.

Heres the video of them trying on the gloves before the Floyd fiasco.

Yeah, it's implied, but that doesn't mean they even touched the gloves beforehand, they came in a different bag since they had custom paint and they were commission approved... Floyd didn't even let them wear the backups that didn't come in a different bag... all horse hair is banned now.

If Garcia actually tore padding himself, that's a whole different story and he should have something to say about this once he finds out they're implying he did manipulate the glove.

The glove looked like it was from the 1920's it folded like a old pillow at the slightest touch, the padding the was altered, there's no denying it............

Let this have been any other fighter not named Floyd, and the backlash Chino would have received

What about the new Red MX gloves Floyd also tried on and still didn't let Chino use them, then they asked if they could use Reyes gloves that i think they had in storage and Floyd also said no? lets be real here im a Floyd fan more then Chino, but i root for Chino if he wasn't fighting Floyd, but we both know Floyd wanted him in Grants and the only reason they settled for Powerlocks is because Robert is sponsored by Everlast so Grants was out of the question. IMO its a ***** move because Guerrero wore Reyes Gloves but why didn't he let Chino wear Reyes gloves if he said no to Everlast?

Cotto nor Guerrero tried to sneak in a cheating azz glove thats why............

If someone tried to threaten your life would you turn right back around and trust their word.......Chino was willing to cheat to win and his actions in the match showed that, I don't want to hear nothing out of his teams mouth

"WBC praises a ridiculous list" should be the title.

Don't be spreading rumors, horse hair gloves are not banned and will never be banned, they are common in fights and have been common for many years now.

That's not what I meant. Was saying how TMT has "banned' horse hair from being around Maidana's fists, no matter how pre wrapped and what kind of hazmat bag they were shipped in.

The hell do you keep burbling about?

You do understand that the procedure described at the start of the article is pretty much what they do already don't you. It's all but impossible to 'sneak in cheating azz glove' into a top fight - any blame if the gloves had been found to be deliberately modified would have been directed at Everlast who provided the gloves, not team Maidana.

It's already standard practice in top fights that the team and fighter are never left alone with the gloves following them being unsealed and inspected by the relevant commission / governing body. All they've really done is moved the inspection date back a little and codified the exact procedure for how the gloves are stored.
