After the third, I just remember he was backing up the whole time. The jab was the punch that caused the cut, but looks like Rosado is just prone to getting cut.
I honestly have to go back and watch, but I remember round 3 and beyond, Quillin was pretty much backing up. He was jabbing while Rosado was coming in though and it disrupted him at times

Meh, could happen. I personally don't see him just beating him down... maybe catching Korobov while he does his little wild attacks, but he usually does that if he thinks he catches you.

Korobov's stamina is a flaw but it isn't as dreadful as some people make out. More shocking to me is everyone overlooking that Quillin's stamina is consistently bad himself he always starts gassing after 5 or 6 rounds. Most relevant though is that Korobov maintains his technique and quality of boxing even when he is tired i assume because of his experience and 321 fight amateur career his output just drops somewhat.

In contrast when Quillin gets tired his technique goes and punches get sloppy, his already mediocre defense becomes more open, he lays on the ropes and it gets so bad sometimes his body language almost makes it look like he's hurt but its just him being tired. He also has a lower average punch output per round than Korobov yet people say Matvey's workrate will be his downfall.

Aside from all of the ludicrous nonsense that has come out of Quillin's mouth in recent times like claiming GGG is too unknown to deserve a fight with him you do realize that prior to winning the WBO belt and before the cold war when Quillin was publicly begging for a title shot Golovkin offered him one and he turned it down right?

Good points, definitely looking forward to the fight. As much as I can see Pete beating him, it's mainly due to the stamina issue. I'd like korobov to win, quillen fights no one.

Showtime had a show in mind for then, but could probably move it to Nov 15th...unless the rumored Canelo fight lands there, which I doubt.

I almost guarantee HBO does not touch it. They might make a small offer, but not close to what Roc Nation invested into it.

They are investing some big money in the GGG/Rubio/Donaire/Walters card.

By the sounds of it, those three guys in your sig are all on the same side (HBO).

Korobov's last two opponents were better than advertised I think, Edwards showed some skill and power in that Korobov fight and then he got the upset KO of Jack the fight after. Uzcategui also looks like he might be promising just way raw at the moment. Two good wins imo, makes me think he might have finally gotten past the extended state of plateau he's been in. Good time for the fight. Quillin has also stagnated so we'll see who breaks out first

Roc Nation isn't trying to make money off of this fight. They made a business move. This is their first boxing event. Rather than starting small time they snatched a title fight. This is more about them entering the boxing world thus why they overpaid for this fight. It's more of an investment.

Roc Nation will eat the majority of that $1.9mill, but it's a marketing expense to them and typical of most company's who are making their intro. They still need to pick up a quality fight for their undercard (Jacobs-Chudinov fits nice but doesn't bring a lot of hype). Showtime seems the most obvious to take this card, but ESPN could be in play and provide Roc Nation a bigger platform. I don't see HBO investing their airtime into a Haymon fighter - Quillin (especially if Jacobs is packaged on the undercard - the potential Quillin-Jacobs fight is a Showtime event).

I'm a fan of both fighters and still see Korobov as a slight favorite. I'd like to see Quillin though because ultimately he would make for a bigger Golovkin opponent down the road.

Edwards landed the same punch that put Korobov on ***** street on Jack. Uzcategui.... still don't know how good he can be yet. I though he was decent heading in, but I want to see him fight another decent opponent

Unles Showtime doesn't bother getting it, don't see HBO trying to pursue. I kind of agree with people saying Roc nation will eat the 1.9 cost because no way will they find somebody to pay big money to broadcast the fight.
