Why didn't he avenge the other two though? If he's never ducked anyone, why didn't he take care of business himself?

Remember when Wlad was knocked out by Sanders, Vitali was livid. Jumping into the ring shouting at Sanders as if he'd done something he shouldn't do.

Wlad has ducked a few fights in his career, as has most others, for one reason or another.

That's what brothers do. Just like Wlad avenged Vitali's fluke loss to Chris Byrd. The are not known as duckers is the point. Injuries happen.

No way Wlad is faking. He's the ultimate professional. Injuries happen. That said, Pulev keeping himself hyped and having a chip when a campo gets blown is no biggie. Look forward to the reschedule. This is an interesting match.

2007 was a long time ago. I do believe there was talk of wlad\briggs but that's as far as it got if I remember correctly. briggs got pretty sick & to the surprise of many was forced to defend his WBO trinket against ibragimov or was going to be stripped. Austin & ibragimov also had a draw in an eliminator. ibragimov was already the WBO mandatory & when he fought Austin I think that was an IBF final eliminator. briggs was not 100% recovered & fought anyway against ibragimov so that left Austin as the IBF mandatory as he was already the #2 for beating owen beck (yeah that's right owen beck was #2)... again it was awhile ago & that fight was on Friday night fights. good scrap that led to both Austin & ibragimov getting title shots...
