Comments Thread For: Pulev on Klitschko: It's a Fake Injury, Complete Nonsense

Sofia - Kubrat Pulev has accused world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko of feigning injury to avoid taking on the Bulgarian challenger in an IBF title bout in Hamburg next month.

Klitschko postponed the fight, scheduled for September 6, last week, saying he had torn bicep muscles during training in Austria.

Earlier this week, the 38-year-old Ukrainian said the contest would now take place at the same venue on Nov. 15.

I was wondering in another thread about the time frame to completely heal from a torn biceps. Depending on the severity of the injury, is 2.5 months enough time to heal to fighting condition?

This Clown Is P*ssed His Paycheck Will Be Delayed!

Listen, neither Klitschko has ever ducked anyone. Wlad & Vitali are Pro's Pros. This fool is crying his payday gets delayed 60 days. He'll end up like all the rest; knocked out by Wlad. Waldo has war'd with guys a lot tougher and more threatening that this fool.

Agree with above poater. WK has never ducked and was able to avenge one of his most embarassing TKO defeats. 2.5 months is plenty time for a slights tear. He could have fought this guy and won but would risk a serious career ending snap!

Povetkin also says Wlad is faking the injury.

I suspect it was a business decision.

Wlad did fake an injury to get out of the Chisora fight...

Finding a way out so he can fight Stiverne the way he did with the Haye fight?

Seems kind of unlikely because Stiverne can make good money in an easier fight vs Wilder (who lets face it is just a big slow goon) but I can't think of anyone else Wlad would walk out of a Pulev fight for. Haye (x), Fury (doesn't seem serious about a Wlad fight) and Stiverne.

Why didn't he avenge the other two though? If he's never ducked anyone, why didn't he take care of business himself?

Remember when Wlad was knocked out by Sanders, Vitali was livid. Jumping into the ring shouting at Sanders as if he'd done something he shouldn't do.

Wlad has ducked a few fights in his career, as has most others, for one reason or another.

Pulev seems to be very silly. But I believe this is all mind games just like when he accused Klitschko of doping.
