Kovalevs fans are pretty much Matthysse fans and butthurt trinidad fans. Matthysse fans because they are mesmerized by power punchers and Trinidad fans because they are mad that their man got embarrassed.
Except Kovalev is more of a boxer than Matthysse.. but seriously, every normal person should like seeing a puncher put on a performance and that's usually the case. Weird fanboys get butthurt that their favs don't have the power to put on a show.
Well, at least The "gay-lien" won't be running around before the fight claiming "aint no way I get beat by no white man"....since he already got a dose of a spanking when he made that claim against Calzaghe....and I laughed and laughed and laughed
NO ONE should hate on the legendary Bernard Hopkins. Especially after taking this dangerous fight with a future ATG/GOAT LHW, Krusher Kovalev.
Bernard Hopkins, you are truly a legend and inspiration to all.
With that said, on November 1st.... your career will end in devastating fashion. Please do not hesitate to throw in the towel. You have nothing to prove anymore. The accumulation of power, accurate and brilliantly timed punches will simply be too much for the 50 year old legend.
War Krusher and War Alien!! I will be there to witness this magical moment.
It's interesting that BHop considers himself a target of "haters". The man has been abrasive himself for years. Calling himself "The Executioner" for most of his career and making the throat cut gesture during his ring entrance and introduction. He's also often made abrasive comments about his opponents. He's portrayed himself as a villain and complains that people hate on him. Now he portrays himself as an "alien", which is not really abrasive, but it is silly and self-serving. It's awesome that he has been able to last so long in the sport and perform at such a high level at his age. However, he has to realize that he can't come off as an ****** for years, and lately as an anomally, yet get no detractors. They'll always be there no matter what, but more so with his strange portrayals.
Good luck with that. Haters will always hate. They didn't love you after Trinidad, after Taylor, after Tarver, after Calzaghe, after Pavlik, after Pascal. So ask yourself, why would they show you love after Kovalev?

WBA/IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard 'The Alien' Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KOs), despite his many achievements and continuing to be one of the top boxers in the world at age 49, believes there are still a lot of "haters" out there.
The haters, as Hopkins views them, continuously doubt his abilities and traditionally pick against him.
On November 8th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Hopkins will face the very dangerous WBO champion Sergey Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KOs) in an HBO televised main event.

I already have much respect for Hopkins...we are truly witnessing history and a special fighter. Win or lose he has already proven everything he needs to prove. This would simply be a cherry on top.
