You say Floyd only outclassed Canelo the second half of the fight yet say I have fanboy love, that's funny. Cotto landed way more punches and body shots against Trout than Canelo did on Floyd but Canelo gets ATG points for landing a half punch the whole fight. You throw around the word fanboy and are aside from the fl*mo's the most biased guy in this forum lol.

Because it's the truth. It was a good chess match at the beginning. Funny thing is Canelo isn't even one of my top 3 favorite boxers currently. Top it off you have Cotto in the top 5 P4P which is incredibly hilarious considering you're calling me biased. Canelo won the fight in a close one, Cotto didn't. Like I said if Cotto were to fight Lara, he will most likely do better than Canelo but it doesn't mean he's better. STYLES MAKES FIGHTS!! A prime Cotto was but this version, not really. That's not me being biased dude.Comment

Cotto is better than Canelo now. Cotto is probably too high for some people, but I also admit I'm a little biased toward him but I'm not throwing out fanboy or nuthugger like you are every two seconds. You like to claim I'm a nuthugger, but when I make predictions I'm fair, straight forward. Canelo has no ring IQ and is easily frustrated which throws him off, Cotto will expose that because he is a very, very good boxer. As for Trout I can't explain it anymore, we can have differing opinion but one bad loss to a boxer doesn't wipe an entire career of wiping the floor with them.Comment

He's not. He was. I'm not throwing any type of nuthuggery. Cotto is not prime anymore. Also if Canelo were to beat Cotto, he shouldn't get all the credit because of that, Cotto is not prime. Cotto is not a very very good boxer, he's good but not very very good. I think Canelo has a decent ring IQ, although Cotto is much better at cutting the ring and Canelo is a better counterpuncher.Comment

Cotto would beat Lara, that style will never beat Cotto unless your name is Floyd Mayweather. Regarding Trout, I think that was a combination of a bad night and Trout wisely using his physical advantages. I personally don't consider Trout a good pure boxer, more of a guy who's good at spamming punches all night. I honestly think a rematch would look completely different.Comment

Cotto's counter punching is better than Canelo's... his timing on it is certainly better its how he hurts guys with a jab, even drops them. Gomez, Clottey and even Martinez, while not actually hitting the canvas did get caught in the 9th with that counter jab. Canelo has more power and a better chin than Cotto and that's the only advantage he has. I also ago that Cotto isn't what he used to be, but he is the best he has been since the Mosley fight, and in the process has gotten smarter. Sometimes an old veteran is better than a physically prime fighter, in this case it will be no different.Comment

that D fighter can punch, if you get caught by a perros punch you are either going down or start dancing, you seems to avoid the obvoius and that's why did he got caught? First the ring was smallest than a phone booth, the mat was filled with foam, he had a 10 pounds rehydration clause while perro never got the memo, put all together and that's your recipe for disaster and the two rounds perro won, beating poor Lara is a bit of a strecht...Comment
