Logically Cotto would lose to Lara. Trout had no problem beating Cotto and Lara is a slick southpaw similar to Trout only better with more speed and power. Canelo deserves lots of credit for edging Lara out in a close fight. Canelo is probably the only 154 pounder who can beat Lara. Lara is not someone who Cotto would fight anyway because he is very high risk and low reward money wise.

I think Lara's vastly overrated, he was getting beat up by Alfredo ****in Angulo for gods sake. He's very beatable if he actually decides to fight and not run.

Would cotto beat Lara more easier than Canelo? I like cotto but I honestly don't think cotto can do any better than Canelo.

Thank you. What Lara did in that fight was disgusting. He did well the first three rounds and fought a little bit but after that it was a disgrace. I don't know how anyone can even support him or give him any credit for that fight. And who has he beat? His best wins are trout who's slightly above average, that's being generous, and Alfredo Angulo who is a punching bag at this point yet he beat the **** out of Lara in certain rounds. He was lucky to draw with Molina and vanes, and when he's stepped up he's lost. He's no world beater.
