Doesn't it kind of seem like Ward wasn't interested in Golovkin at all until the heat turned up for him to fight Kovalev/Stevenson/Hopkins, then suddenly his team came out saying Golovkin was a perfect opponent?

If he can fight why isn't he fighting? He said Golovkin or not he would have fought spring/summer 2014... Welp...

Yeah, or could it possibly be that Ward isn't interested in moving up in weight? And more importantly, why is GGG so willing to fight Chavez, but not Ward at 168?

Golovkin called out Ward just today!

After first balking at a suggestion to sample The Pantry’s delicious pan-fried potatoes, a publicist interrupting to note, “He’s starting training for a world title fight,” Golovkin later saw a plate, and said, “Give me some of those.”

He said he’s willing to take on everyone from his “dream fight” against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 154 pounds to another unbeaten, Andre Ward, at 168 pounds.

when golovking turns down a record payday to fight the #1 guy in his own division then you can compare him to ward because that's what ward did. oh yeah ward also said the #1 guy wasn't worthy then tried to fight an unranked guy a short while later but hbo rejected his ass.

It's really quite silly to sue someone over and over and pretend like you're still working together. They most likely can't even directly communicate without affecting ongoing lawsuits.
What loopholes? Do you have a legit agreement from the other fighter? Does it meet the fighters' minimum? That's all it takes. The commission believed Goosen's proof that he tried to work in good faith with Ward.

Right now would be the best time for Golovkin to try to make a fight with Ward. If Goosen really is holding a grudge, Golovkin will get the best offer out of Goosen. Then Golovkin would be all like, "See, even Ward's own promoter admits that it's Ward whose ducking Golovkin" if Ward gets an offer he doesn't like.

                    Ducking

Everyone knows GGG"s team is DUCKING Ward not GGG, he will fight anyone. His teams knows that Ward could take GGG to school so they don't want any of that.

im pretty sure golovkin will face anybody and has said numerous times hes willing to face the best......ward seems more bent on taking on Chavez jr or another bigger name for a big payday but im sure down the road the pressure will build and the fight will happen
