I seriously have a hard time believing the legal issues with Goosen is not a problem... if so Ward would've fought already, but all we had was possible return dates for Sprin, May and Fall.... with nothing happening at all.

Also Ward still has his Ali act lawsuit with Goosen's defamation lawsuit... yea... they'll work through that. Ward will be lucky if Goosen doesn't bench him out of spite, hope not

Goosen can't legally bench him. If Goosen wants to claim the contract is valid, he still has to offer him fights and have proof if it goes to another commission hearing.

All Golovkin's team has to do is call Ward's bluff (if he's bluffing) and talk to Goosen. There's nothing preventing K2 from legally talking to Goosen about a Ward fight.

Golovkin isn't chasing a fight with Ward. Ward's the one talking, getting mileage out of Golovkin's name without having to fight, so he should send the contract and make the offer - if he's serious, which I don't believe he is.

Think about how many loopholes "Goosen still has to offer Ward fights" while being sued has. The way boxing negotiations go Goosen has at least 9 million opportunities to "accidentally" botch making a fight.

It's really quite silly to sue someone over and over and pretend like you're still working together. They most likely can't even directly communicate without affecting ongoing lawsuits.
