Calzaghe could not hurt my sister.....He slaps like a *****. He is not even in the top fighters discussion. He barely beats Hopkins after age 40, a man Jones easily beat when he was much much younger, and he beat Jones when jones was dammm near 40, and had destroyed his body after the ruiz fight.

Please. You did not hear a peeop from calzaghe about jones until after roy destroyed his body

Joe at his peak did not throw as many punches as he does today so he would have no answer for the speed of Jones. A faded Jones was winning the fight whenever he would let his hands go, that's why this fight is not that hard to figure. Jones beats Joe and could actually stop him. What would a prime Roy done if he had got Joe in the same position he had him in in their last fight?

                Too close to call.

Some factors point to Joe, other factors point to Roy.

The fact is, you can talk about the mythical "prime vs prime" but it is still always going to be speculation.

How do you know that Roy will beat Calzaghe?

Could it be the same reason you KNEW Lacy would beat Calzaghe?

Or maybe the same theory as to why you KNEW Pavlik would whoop B Hop?

And most people here KNEW that Manny was going to get KO'd by Oscar.

We only have one thing to go on, and that's Calzaghe W12 Jones Jr.

You can cry about it all you like, and claim "prime vs prime", but it doesn't mean ****, nobody knows what would happen.

For the record, I voted draw, as it's too close to call.

But what would a prime Joe have done if he had busted Roy open that bad?

You can speculate all you want, but it doesn't change the facts.

This is ******... we cant go on this most recent fight between the two of them. Lets see, according your dumb logic then Trevor Berbick would beat Prime Ali?

This fight meant nothing.. Calzaghe is no where near a fighter on the same level as Roy. He for what ever reason didnt even think of fighting in their primes Hopkins and Jones. No Hopkins prime was not 35 either, before you start to say 6 years ago they where going to fight,,,etc..

What facts? The only time Jones ever got cut pro or amateur was in his fight with Joe and it took him to be shot for it to finally happen. When you get older as a boxer, your skin becomes more sensitive and you are more prone to cuts. Another thing is that you couldn't actually think that a prime Jones would get hit as much as he did against Joe for the cut to even happen? Do you?
