Last time I checked it was Froch who had his rematch... 1-1 after 24 rounds of slaughterhouse... Both Groves and Degale are not cut out for these kinds of wars!!Comment

Lean towards Froch and hope he does it, but as a fan this has 'disaster' written all over it. He wont be able to get up for this fight, it is at London O2 which is DeGale's backyard and it is a massive step down from Wembley. Hearn has not delivered for Carl - he deserves a big American fight not this.Comment

Bullsh.t! Chavez Jr. shouldn't have to sign a two-fight extension to get a major fight. Offering Chavez $7 million means nothing when the fight will generate $40 million and allow Arum to walk away with a $15 to $20 million profit based on Chavez Jr.'s popularity. Chavez Jr. can make the same amount of money fighting those same fighters under another promoter's banner without signing an extension with Arum.
If the fight really generates $40million, that means it sold 600k PPV @ $65. Right off the bat you have to take half of that away for network companies. Network companies get half of the PPV revenue. All of a sudden there's $20 million left to go around and there's no way in hell, using common sense, that Arum would walk away with all that is leftComment

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I have a lot of faith in Chavez Jr. Perhaps he doesn't deserve it b/c he's been ****ing around too much; but I still think there's something in there worth paying attention to.Comment

The bolded part shall echo in the near future.
James Degale is very skilled and has sweet counter punching. Especially with Frochy who gets quite reckless at times. This will play in to Degale's hands who also happen to fight well off of the ropes where Carl likes to trap people and smother them.
Also Froch is at the point where he can age over night, so that too has to be factored in.
But he still hold the first chance in this fight, as DeGale is quite slow and doesn't have Carl's heart...Comment

DeGale would have to employ similar tactics to what Groves did in the 2nd fight which is to try and outpoint him and stay in the middle of the ring, because he doesn't have the power to push him back and hurt him. He just can't make a careless mistake like George did and get caught square with his chin in the air. That loss still annoys me hahahaComment
