Repeatedly suing his promoter is a tactic Ward is using to duck out of a fight with Sergey Kovalev.
Ward walks around weighing over 200lbs and can't make 168 any more. He would rather destroy his own career than move up to light-heavyweight and have Kovalev destroy him.

Ward swears and condemned calls for a fight, but does not go into the ring, and that's the problem. No one knows how all this will continue. Yes Andre Ward says he's ready, but also Gennady ready to oppose him. Even if we agree on all conditions, without the participation of the promoter is also difficult to see how we can work with Ward, his team and his promoter and untwist a big fight when there is a war between them and the scheduled bout will be at risk every day. The only way - to find a solution themselves. I hope they will solve this problem among themselves in the near future, and we can sit down at the negotiating table. While Ward swears and is suing his promoter, he should not mention the name of GGG and talk about this fight, which he knows, and we know that will not happen in his current position.

This is just another excuse to avoid moving up to 168 to fight Ward. However, Golovkin has no problem moving up to 168 to fight Chavez or moving down to 154 to fight Mayweather. Typical cowardly behavior.

Like Ward is afraid of Kovalev? I guess that's when his lawsuits are an excuse

Chavez' team made an offer, a very good one. Team Froch can also make a very good offer if inclined. How about Team Ward?

Exactly, It won't matter who GGG fights to the haters, if he beats a hall of fame fighter Cotto "he's to small and old it's not fair". I hear how good Quillin is and if they fought then you'd hear "quilin was overrated he's never fought anyone". Even if he fights Ward and wins then you'll hear "Ward hadn't fought in 18 months and his shoulder was bothering him." If he beats Froch you'll hear "Froch is Old and he's on his last leg." What I want to know is what fighter or fighters does he have to beat for him to get respect from all fight fans? or is that just boxing fans. I personally think the only fighter than can beat him right now is Ward, but I also think they could both give eachother their first losses and end up fighting 3 times. I guess we'll see how it works it's way out.

After reading some of the comments here I do believe that Ward fans have the same reading comprehension problems as their favorite fighter. You, people, just can't understand what you read lol.

I would say a potential opponent being tied up with legal battles is a pretty good reason to avoid them. It'd be plain ****** to try to make a fight which has every chance of falling through.

Furthermore if, as is apparently the case, Ward is guaranteed a min. $1.75mil per fight, it is genuinely hard to see how it does make any financial sense for Golovkin at this stage.

golvokins management are better off just keeping quiet, they make ggg look bad

ward can fight under his lawsuit so its just ignorance or unwarranted blasphemy on golovkin manager's part to come out with his diatribe
