Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Manager: Ward Should Solve His Problems First

    - As I understand Andre Ward this situation with the promoter has lasted for about a year and can last for as much or even more. We have been in this situation, but in parallel sued and continued to do the fighting. Thanks to the tremendous work of the team of lawyers GGG my brother Maxim Germany (pictured right) and his colleagues from Hamburg, we won in the second instance court, and Gennady then became a free agent. Ward swears and condemned calls for a fight, but does not go into the ring, and that's the problem. No one knows how all this will continue. Yes Andre Ward says he's ready, but also Gennady ready to oppose him. Even if we agree on all conditions, without the participation of the promoter is also difficult to see how we can work with Ward, his team and his promoter and untwist a big fight when there is a war between them and the scheduled bout will be at risk every day. The only way - to find a solution themselves. I hope they will solve this problem among themselves in the near future, and we can sit down at the negotiating table. While Ward swears and is suing his promoter, he should not mention the name of GGG and talk about this fight, which he knows, and we know that will not happen in his current position.

    Duck

This is a good way to duck. We want to fight but but but Ward has to solve his problems first. When Ward solves his problems they are going to say but but but but we want to unify at 160 but but but Ward is financially bad.

No joke, if Golovkin wasn't getting a WBC mandatory for Rubio, his people should have made an offer. There's like a 90% chance Ward turns it down thinking he deserves more, and a 99% chance Goossen wouldn't make the fight if Ward agreed anyway.

It's almost a guaranteed win-win scenario for Golovkin.

Everyone should forget about fighting Ward until Ward actually wants to fight. Considering he won't stop suing everyone, I don't think he does. He's all talk.

Translation: GGG is our only cash cow. If he fights Ward he gets gutted and that means no more money for us.

Ward isn't even a relevant fighter anymore. His only win 2 yrs is vs Edwin Rodriguez. Smh

I don't get why people even talk about guys in Ward and Chavez Jr's situations being "ducked".

How do you "duck" someone who can't legally fight due to a contract dispute?

What's the point of even talking about it?

Thar ye have it boys, we are gonna have to wait awhile and we should because we don't want GGG to whup Andre in a bad mental state !!!!!! Some of you would call FOUL and say Andre had problems that caused his demise.

So before you get to say that remember yer boy JOY , yes Joy Jr, his HISTORY has been one of finding problems in a fighter and then taking him on like for instance, Corrales, his mental state was in the dirt and thats what JOY likes.

GGG is a man with HONOR and not looking for easy fights.
