The logic behind the thread really has little to do with who I thought would win.
I said I was wrong, and I'm happy to eat crow because Joe put on a great preformance.
The point I was making is that one win, his 1st noteworthy one in years, doesn't erase all the deserved critisism about having wasted a great many years of his career in his own backyard fighting stiffs.
I've read too many comments that seem like people think this one win erases all the poor competition and home cooking he's had through the better part of his career.
He's 33, and really just stepping up now.
Will he continue to step up? Or was this a one time thing?
Time will tell.
