Am I the only one who thinks Cotto would take it too Trout right now? Trout had Cotto fighting backwards for god sake. It was a close fight that Cotto loss by letting Trout out work him and dictate the pace.

Roach would never let Cotto fight backwards against Trout and this is fact. With the jab and left hook to the liver I think Cotto could take Trout in the rematch. A lot of people think Cotto was dominated because they couldn't believe how good Trout looked but it was a really close fight that Trout won by being more active, not because he was slick. Floyd was slick vs Cotto. Trout just outgunned a Cotto who took him lightly.

As a matter of fact to hell with Andy Lee if Cotto wants a Floyd rematch he needs to beat Trout! Trout had his number that night but I wouldn't say he's a bad style match up for Cotto. Cotto has always thrived against pure boxers. Floyd is the only pure boxer to out point Cotto. Trout out worked him barely. Although I think Cotto is a live underdog in a rematch with Pac or Floyd I think Trout is the fight Cotto can more then likely avenge.

Trout would win. Just an awful stylistic match up for him. Even a PRIME Cotto would have been pushed, but probably would have won then.

Well lets look at the options for right now

Canelo owes showtime a fight so no
Golovkin vs rubio so no to those two
Andy Lee is a good fight
Bradley no reason for a 147 vs 154 to fight for 160 belt
Same reason as above for Marquez
So as far as a respectable opponent and a good back story I think Trout 2 is best fight for now

However, I lean toward trout 55 to 45%
