lol the hometown boy suing CSAC...would that mean no more fights for him in California?Comment

Suing the CSAC, it's almost certain he'll be out of the ring for atleast another year. He'll skip right over his prime years. Though Ali and SRL lost some of their prime years aswell.
Ward could've been making $2million per fight, 2-3 times per year for just another couple years under his 'slave' contract, but instead he's wasting money in court and now being sued while making nothing. Worst of all, he's lost his momentum from the S6 and even the Dawson fight and there's not really anyone at 168 for him to fight where he can rebuild his brand like it was.Comment

As dumb as suing the CSAC sounds.... it's not out of the realm of Ward to do considering he has been in arbitration three times and lost and now is trying sue Goosen.
I mean, those court documents Crushin posted is pretty damningComment

Ward's contract with Goossen gives him a minimum of 1.75 mil per fight. Slave contract doe
"Ward demanded and received a $550,000 signing bonus plus a
dramatic improvement in his fees per bout, with a minimum of $1,750,000 plus pay-per-view percentages. In his first bout under the subject new agreement, Ward received and retained $1.750 million dollars and in his second bout under the new agreement Ward received and retained $1.9 million, for a total of$3.65 million"Comment

I seriously hope he's not listening to J. Prince behind the scenes. He's got too much talent to be on the shelf like this during his peak years.Comment
