There's no telling how much longer Canelo will continue to make 154. Fighting Lee/Canelo @154 and hoping they're drained is clearly part of the game-plan, and Cotto has the name value to coerce them. However, Cotto and Canelo need each other to put on a big PPV, so maybe Canelo will try to get a catchweight.

Not a bad fight to stay busy and active. I would have preferred Rubio though.

How is fighting 2 guys in their current weight class attempting to drain them?

Vacant title? Floyd is defending that title against Maidana.

I like the fight okay if Canelo and GGG can't happen. Lee has pop and can counter with ferocity. He's a good name for a stay-busy defense.

I fully expect Cotto to dominate and knock out Lee however.

It's a good fight to keep him active.

The WBC Junior Middleweight title is not vacant. Mayweather has it. And he is defending it vs Maidana.

Miguel clearly underestimated Trout. It was painfully obvious. He was complacent, didn't train they way he should have and deserved to get is azz whooped. I think cotto learned a lesson and was embarrassed. I have a strong su****ion if they were to fight again it would be a different fight. Not saying he would win so would like to see. If the same cotto that fought Martinez shows up my money would be placed on cotto.

Awesome PPV. HOPEFULLY Cotto will stack the undercard with guys like Juan Herrera and Janiel Rivera!

Cotto did not underestimate him. His age showed against a fighter with great skill. Trout fought Lara and Canelo afterwards, and got robbed vs Canelo. Cotto fought a bum Delvin rodriguez, and a hopelessly shot Sergio Martinez. Who faced the tougher competition, Austin Trout. And Austin Trout would school him in a rematch again. Cotto can't handle a boxer.
