They will do the same why? Because angulo brings the Mexicans and Cotto brings the Puerto Ricans, actually I think Cotto-Angulo may even have done better numbers then Martinez, because Martinez has no following. Also Angulo was still perceived as a threat because he lost to 2 top Jr middleweights, where as many believed Cotto-Martinez was a mismatch in favor of Martinez. By the way Angulo-Lara had a really good rating when they fought on show time, so it's not like Angulo a Mexican comes in with no backing.

If Canelo can keep winning he will probably rule PPV but I would say he is a close fourth.

Both these fags Cotto/Canelo are going to play the marinating game along with their promoters. Instead of both fighting, they're both going to be in fights that favor them most likely. Shit like that is what makes boxing worse.

Your crazy if you think Angulo and Cotto wouldn't sell under the same circumstances as Canelo Angulo, Cuba is like Puerto Rico boxing and baseball are not just sports there ingrained in the culture so yes Lara probably accounted for 100k of that ppv maybe slightly more.

I think this will be a good fight. Should have lots of action and be a nice, fan friendly fight. What's not to love?

Fight of the year written all over this one. Young confident strong boxer puncher in Canelo vs a confident rejuvenated veteran Miguel Cotto. This one can go either way.

A Coward who took the Trout who beated Cotto, a Coward who took on the best of our era Mayweather, and a Coward to took on "the best 154" by many boxing specialists.

Explain to me, why is he a coward?

canelo knows he can't legitimately beat anyone good, so now he is back to picking on past prime welterweights like cotto instead of fighting REAL middleweights like GGG.

canelo is a middleweight but for some reason he fights at this new weightclass he invented called cowardclass where the limit is 155lbs.
a Past prime Welterweight who beat the hell up of Martinez, who beat the cruiserweight of Chavez Jr? the dude who no one gave a dime of chance in beating Martinez?

So by your thinking Danny Garcia, Manny Pacqiuao, Floyd Mayweather and A LOT of boxers who fight @catchweights are COWARDS?

this guys is killing me with his contradictions, lol.

Even Cotto himself demanded catchweights: against Margarito (153) and Martinez (159). Like Canelo's two last fights (155) it was only one pound but at the end of the day is exactly the same situation for both Alvarez and Cotto and fans of both sides shouldn't bring the issue to discussion because both boxers have done the same.
