            The World Boxing Council has released the results of the 30-day mandatory weigh-in, which Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana were subject to. They are going to collide in a WBC/WBA welterweight unification on May 3rd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather (45-0, 26KOs), who walks around at 150-pounds, was only 149.8-pounds - less than three pounds away from the welterweight limit of 147. Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) was much bigger, coming in at 158-pounds, but with more than enough time to shave off 11-pounds. There will also be a seven day weigh-in coming up, where neither boxer can weigh more the 154-pounds a week before the fight.

                Am I reading this correctly? Floyd weighed in at 188 at one point?

                                Will Floyd be able to handle those sledgehammers Maidana will be throwing (and landing) with full force, that's the real question.

                                        No, he's not. Floyd was close to 195 pounds when he was released from prison.
