Photos: Mayweather, Maidana 30-Day Fight Weights
By Miguel Rivera
The World Boxing Council has released the results of the 30-day mandatory weigh-in, which Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana were subject to. They are going to collide in a WBC/WBA welterweight unification on May 3rd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather (45-0, 26KOs), who walks around at 150-pounds, was only 149.8-pounds - less than three pounds away from the welterweight limit of 147. Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) was much bigger, coming in at 158-pounds, but with more than enough time to shave off 11-pounds. There will also be a seven day weigh-in coming up, where neither boxer can weigh more the 154-pounds a week before the fight.

People need to let that Marquez thing go; he lost weight the next day vs Canelo but he magically gained 16 plus lbs vs Marquez when his gameplan didn't involve him bullying Marquez does that make sense.Comment by mathed on 04-16-2014
Floyd must have some light bones or something, he looks like at least 160 pounds yet he only weighs 150.
It's called illegal drugs, sorry "borderline-legal" supplements.Post a Comment - View More User Comments (149)
