Campbell, arnaoutis, holt wernt bums when garcia fought them....he has 9 notable names on his resume...theophane, arnaoutis,campbell,holt,morales,khan,judah,mathyss e,herrera..and possibly peterson next the dude has a very good resume..imo

This is the problem when people only look at names but not the whole picture. Of the list, Campbell, Holt, Judah and Morales were not on their prime anymore. Theophane was a very close fight (SD) and a good number of people thought Garcia lost. Herrera (who was supposed to be a "homecoming" tune-up fight) was the real winner and I accept that Khan and Mathysse are the most important wins of Garcia so far. There are other 140 # fighters that he could face such as Postol, Provodnikov, Broner, in lieu of Salka (he could also rematch Herrera to show that it was only a bad night). If Garcia is so great then there is no way to justify any type of mismatches or easy fights and his followers should be always demanding the best of his favorite boxer.

Garcia needed to grow a set and "Just Say No" to Rod Salka choice. Don't give us this crap that Haymon picks all your fights and you show up. You ALWAYS have the final say. Agreeing to fight an unranked lightweight who had never fought at '40, is inexcusable. If your name is a shot Zab Judah or a 40+ year old Casamayor, then I get it. But you're Danny Garcia holding yourself out to be a top P4P brand... Talking about yourself in the third person these days, you don't EVER agree to an opponent like that. You get tougher sparring partners in the gym. So every time you start trying to explain yourself, you look bad; just move on. Don't let that happen again. Haymon is your pimp right now; take charge of your career a bit and don't just put everything on Haymon. Seriously I felt bad for Salka. He was so amateurish in the ring, much smaller, scared, and could have gotten seriously hurt. Maybe you might want to fight Gennady and see how Salka felt.
