Besides, Jay-Z is like a.... billionaire, no? Dude can invest MILLIONS of dollars and it wouldn't even scratch his wallet.
no, $520m (Source: 2014 Forbes), although combined with Bouncy it's $900m

      Well together they're almost billionaires.

Still, 520million is a hell of a lot of money and he continues to make tons of money every single day.

I will never complain that boxers are getting more money than in previous generations, even if it comes in a Danny/salka kind of fight. Networks have enough money to cover the costs.

To quote Jay z-"I'm overcharging ni--as for what they did to the Cold Crush."

They over payed 1.5m too much imo.

Reminds me of when Stallone got into promoting and he was over paying for a bunch of fights, he didn't last long.

Like I said in that one thread a couple of weeks ago.... it's bad for the sport because it could lead to fighters to stop taking risks and fight top fighters.

            But anyway, that's irrelevant here.

            War Jay Z!

being a billionaire and having a "estimated net worth" of a billion are two different things

They probably think it is a fight tour. Korobov and Chocolate fighting in multiple venues in the North East. 14 dates have been set so far.

You're right. Jay Z is not close to being a billionaire. I am sorry.

That's ridiculous dude. If the networks didn't want danny/salka and kov/caprello fights, they wouldn't air them. Respectfully, don't be ****** like a large segment of the boxing public.

No promoter or manager can force multi national, multi billion dollar conglomerates like CBS, HBO, NBC and Disney to broadcast ANYTHING they don't choose to.
