Anything is possible, but it doesn't make sense for jay z and CAA to try to get into the boxing business and have no actual fighters or contracts with venues/tv stations of there own.

The $ from promoting events is small dollars compared to what these guys are making. These are the guys who are closing 200+ million dollar deals for guys like Cano and Durant.

True. Short term sacrifices for long term success. They may also favor a manager/advisor role in the Haymon mold. Maybe this is why ward, JCC jr and mikey Garcia are all trying to get out of their current deals.

Hbo would be smart to grab this fight IMO. Could possibly lead to a quillen vs GGG fight in the near future. Quillen may ask for $8 million though based on the purse he will get from this fight lol.
