Not so sure Brook v Khan is on the scale of Froch/Groves 2 and have doubts that it would do 80k at Wembley stadium , yes it would be PPV 02 size I think.
It will be interesting to see what happens over the coming days and weeks but without doubt the no.1 welterweight in the uk at the the moment is Kell! So Khan will have to give it a go or fight a TOP guy and if Porter can't cement a rematch how about him??? Trouble is the Khan's won't they will always look for the easy route.

Khan Doesn't Have To Like It; He's Ducked Brook & Stands Around Looking For A Lottery

If Amir could grow a set (and Brook called it right-Queen Khan), and climb in the ring with one of the top contenders and beat someone up, he too might gain some leverage. Amir hasn't done anything credible since 2010. Was destroyed by Garcia & Peterson, and done nothing since. Brook has called Khan out for years and heard nothing but crickets. Now it's Khans turn to go beat up a Thurman who is undefeated, or go beat up Guerrero, Provodnikov, or Tim Bradley all former champs and very credible. If Khan mysteriously still looks at himself as one of the best, then show Boxing and choose one of those four; they are all available!!!! Brook was undefeated and got his shot at Porter and dominated. Khan has some ground to make up from the Garcia & Peterson train wrecks; a win over Collapso (Collazo) is far from credible, warrants you nothing more but a ticket into the 147 crowd. Khan is afraid of losing to any of those four, which wipes out his chances at a fight in the Floyd or Manny. Nobody cares what you did in 2010!

It is actually quite painful to see the ignorance of some posters cheering on for Brook to tell off Khan because they don't even realize the rivalry that is brewing for years and finally it is a meaningful fight given Kell is a belt holder and brings something besides the $.
I agree but it's funny how Khan didn't want the fight before.
Now Kell has taken a step over him. Khan has been overly cautious in trying to secure a Floyd fight. Brook could possibly pinch it from under his nose.
That said it's the biggest fight for either aside from a Floyd fight.

Both Team knows who is calling the shots, Brook winning against Porter makes him an attractive option to Khan which would make him millions over here.

Why do promoters say this **** ?

All it does is increase the chances of egos getting in the way of making the fight.

This fight will be huge in the UK, they'll be plenty of money to go around and the winner has a great shot at a Pac/May superfight.

            Get it done for December.

This fight will be a big sell, especially in the UK.

Personally I don't think it will take place until next summer.

Hopefully when it does Brook will beat the brakes of Princess Khan and he will retire.

Once retired, all we will constantly hear then is how 'King Khan' will make his big comeback to save boxing...

I know boxers have to promote themselves, but Princess Khan takes it to a whole new level - he HAS to fight a contemporary like Alexander or Guerrero first and stop putting himself on a pedestal with Floyd and Manny all the time.

How did you get to that conclusion?

It's a fight between a champion and a highly ranked contender + both are vying for Pacquiao/Mayweather shots. It's a fight between two top 10 contenders which would be the only other scheduled bout between such two other than Mayweather/Maidana.

It would generate world wide interest, probably american tv too, 40-60k audience..

The fight means a whole lot more than say Khan-Guerrero or Brook-Alexander.

It depends on how much Sky want to make it. Khan is two fights into a 3 fight deal with BoxNation as far as I know, and they won't be able to put up the money.

I doubt Goldenboy would put up any sort of big money for a domestic fight either, so the money comes from Sky/Matchroom.

But Khan is the bigger star in the UK and around the world.

Khan is more known, but if this gets made it will be a hugely pro-Brook crowd.

I'd guess Kell will have at least 70% of the crowd.
