The fact is that Ezekiel has just made a statement for himself. All welterweights now know him. He is a better welterweight than Khan, (fact). And he should be calling the shots. Now whether he actually does on not is up for debate.

Brook isn't really "calling the shots". Amir Khan is still a bigger name than Kell Brook.

This is just posturing from Hearn. He knows there realistically isn't a bigger fight out there for Brook.

Both guys will probably have to make compromises to get the fight made.

Marquez is a very good alternative name, a better one actually, if Marquez is serious about wanting Brook. Domestically no, but probably in every other department like for example, Mexico vs England, Marquez knocking out Pacquiao, better resume builder.

I think Brook will be having the bigger money behind him. But Khan has a deal with BoxNation, so it'll be hard to make.

But Sky Box Office will undoubtedly bring more money to the table, which is why I feel Brook will probably have more backing.

Realistically, it's a 50/50 split.

It will do 20k in MEN probably, now Kell is world champion, but it wouldn't be PPV I wouldn't imagine.

Until Kel has 7million people watching him for a fight then he can call shots, until then he should be begging for 30% of the split. Khan is known worldwide, he is a household name in the UK, kel is only known in sheffield.

They don't need each other. Khan could go on to fight Guererro or Alexander in Dec and then Floyd/Pac next year. While Brook could fight Bundu, Marquez or Thurman.
