Clinching? No he smothered your inside fighting and landed the eye catching cleaning clean effective shots. This fight reminded me of the Lara and Canelo fight.

in football they have holding penalties, unfortunately in boxing they don't unless you get the right ref. enjoy the terrible fights.

Not true at all! He did not lunge in with his head down at all. That's what Marcos Maidana does. I didn't see Porter do the Maidana bull rush once. He leaps in. Yes. But there is a huge difference between bull rushing and leaping in. Bull rushing is an intentional dirty tactic employed by fighters like Maidana where they come in with the crown of their head first as a battering ram to keep a fighter from being able to block looping punches. Porter has his head up the whole time and he's bobbing and weaving his way in more like a Mike Tyson. He threw rabbit punches in the clinch but I don't think that he was aiming for the back of the head like a Maidana does. And the clash of heads was in the clinch and it wasn't intentional. Kell Brook was definitely allowed to get away with excessive holding. And it s ridiculous that the commission would tell the fighters corner to stop complaining about it. They're supposed to advocate for their fighter.

He leapt in but he didn't do it with his head down. That's just simply not true. And how would you know that they felt that way if they didn't comment on it? You completely contradict yourself. When a guy is allowed to get away with that much holding it is worth commenting on. Steve Farhood commented on it. Is he pathetic? Brian Kenney commented on it. Is he pathetic? I'm sure you don't think so. It's only when the fighter or his team comment on it that it becomes pathetic. Right? I get that you are a Kell Brook fan. But there is nothing wrong with acknowledging reality.

All of those so called rabbit punches happened in the clinch. And he wasn't aiming for the back of the head. He was trying to make space and catch Brook in the face but Brook was able to move inside of those punches in the clinch and they were going around his head and not even really landing. No harm no foul and he wasn't aiming for the back of the head. And once again those rabbit punches only happened after Kell Brook initiated the clinch.

stop making sense. clinching is beautiful. porter was supposed to stand there like a wlad opponent and not do anything while being clinched.

Porter got worked! Fight wasn't even that close IMO. Dude looked like a bum to me yesterday. Needs to man up and accept the lost like a pro. No contreversy at all. Foh! And let me see anyone that slobbers Andre Ward complain about brooks clinching. I'm red k'ing you. Jk, send red is for b1tches.

This is a joke right ? The only clinching after round seven was Porter, desperately !

The referee last night was exceptionally poor,Porter was leading with his head, bringing his head into Kell's to cause damage, hell even the cut Brook sustained was from a head clash.Brook had it not been for the clash of heads you wouldn't have known he had just done 12 rounds, whereas Porter resembled a car crash victim.

                    Victory for boxing last night.

                      More than accurate assessment...
I don't particularly like Porter, but the poor guy was fighting all night to have his arms somehow free... Which eventually exhausted him...
