He was, probably should have been warned but it's more Porters fault for not having a single clue as to what to do about it.

you can see that part of his plan was to tie up Porter on the inside to negate Porter's roughness....he took away a key part of Porter's game....it was pop's job to overstand Brook's tactic and switch things up.....too late to speak on it now....he had damn near one whole hour to voice that complaint and do something about it.....what now?!?....the ref is suppose to take a point from Brook?!?....the scorecards must be recalculated ?!?...WTF is pop's purpose?!?....game over, don't talk about it....get the rematch and DO something about it!!

It's hilarious how every clincher defender always complains about rabbit punches as if they weren't a direct accidental result of the illegal clinching.

If Porter would've listen to his father when he was telling him "quit swinging for his head, you're just tiring yourself out and your not hitting anything. GO TO THE BODY". He probably would've done better and probably could've tired brook in the later rounds.

What I REALLY liked about Brook was his composure, his calmness, and how relaxed he looked in the ring. Seemed like NOTHING phased him or made him panic at any time.

I admit I was going for Porter, because I knew nothing about Brook. Never ever seen that guy fight in the states. I think the fight overall was boring though. And It could've gone either way. So I really don't disagree with the decision and Brook won it fair and square.

After watching this fight and then going back to watch the Canelo vs. Lara fight. It really does show that Lara DIDN'T DO ANYTHING (ENOUGH) to win that fight. The Majority of the whole 12 rounds it was running and not throwing.

Moot discussion, Brook had to clinch because Porter is a wild dude in the ring - Everytime Brook clinched porter would hit him all over(back of the head everywhere) - they aren't speaking on this, but Porter's arrogant team let Brook's team come in and watch them spar (dumb arrogant move) maybe team Brook put the final touches on their game plan after witnessing Porter sparring live... before the fight I wasn't privy to brook, and picked porter to win, but after watching the fight, Brook is gonna be a problem, you can only do so much against a style like Porters - kind like a mini Sakio Bika - Anthony Dirrill could only do so much against that style because Bika and Porter are very strong fighters.. Give Brook a little distance and he will make you pay - You can tell he was hurting Porter in there because Porter was aggressive but cautious at the same time - Brook could have actually done more and in a rematch I think he will seriously hurt porter - remember this was Brook's first title shot and in a foreign country ....

Porter it looked like you did not know how to fight, you just rushed Brook like you were playing football. No skills at all just flailing with your arms and Brook landed a few pot shots and the judges awarded him for it. Porter you need to learn how to throw proper punches.

Porter will never improve as a fighter unless he excepts that he lost fair and square and works on why he was beaten.

Porter and his team need to not make poor excuses.

He's young and very talented, he needs to take time out then come back stronger. That should be Team Porter's focus.
