It was a horrible fight to watch, Porter just spoiled for the entire fight wailing & windmilling the back of Brooks head & back.

I'm glad he won, just wished he'd managed to set his jab up a bit more.

Brook - Khan isn't going to be anytime soon. I think Brook takes a defense of two before jumping in with Khan.

Either way glad we have another world champion to get behind

All of those so called rabbit punches happened in the clinch. And he wasn't aiming for the back of the head. He was trying to make space and catch Brook in the face but Brook was able to move inside of those punches in the clinch and they were going around his head and not even really landing. No harm no foul and he wasn't aiming for the back of the head. And once again those rabbit punches only happened after Kell Brook initiated the clinch.

Its funny how Porter beat Devon even though he was "clinching" too..

stop making sense. clinching is beautiful. porter was supposed to stand there like a wlad opponent and not do anything while being clinched.

You don't bust up a guy's face from clinching.. look I barely like Kell Brook but it is what it is, he box Porter's head off, face it.. He caught him with hooks and right hands coming in.. and wasn't that Porter that clinched before he got hit with a three punch combo that sent him stunned to the ropes?? im not a biased fan, I actually picked Porter to win, so miss me that..

I saw nothing wrong with what Brook did, Porter fought charging forward head first trynig to do his basic smothering overpower his opponent crap to wear the down, and he cut brook with his head and tried to keep reopen it many times with his head again, it backfired and Shawn got a worse cut. The way to stop a guy from wearing you down who fights wild like that with no sill or punching technique is to clinch them and tie them up and wear them down show them you are just as strong if not stronger.
Brook owned Porter in the strength department.

Although I said it was a 50-50 fight I lean a little towards Porter because of his strength and volume punching capabilities but Brook show me he can box and how to deal with brut strength, Brook did what he had to do to win but more importantly win convingsingly.

I still want to watch Porter he is an exiting fighter and provably will change his tone once the water clears the fight was yesterday so give him a couple of weeks and he'll understand he lost fare and square.

Part of the reason he lost was the corners fault in getting him to adjust, which he could not do. He may have a rematch clase but I can't c him getting it anytime soon...
