  • Comments Thread For: Brook: Khan Will Probably Say I Need Another Title!

Kell Brook is the new IBF welterweight champion after claiming a majority decision over Shawn Porter in Carson, California.

The Sheffield fighter had been waiting 18 months for his title shot after seeing three clashes with Devon Alexander fall through, with Porter taking advantage to defeat Alexander and claim the belt.

But Brook took his chance when it came in a tight and at times untidy clash, with the judges handing him the contest 114-114, 117-111, 116-112.

Lol @ the title, Brooks got jokes.

Brook isn't going to fight Thurman, he brings nothing to the table.
What fighter would take 1/100th of the pay to fight Thurman over Khan? None.

Brook sells a lot of tickets in the U.K even before tonight, if beats Khan then he will be a massive draw and IMO Floyd would want that fight in the U.K

Porter wants a rematch, but Kell was mandatory so no need. Brook / Khan @ Wembley would make a lot of money. Much more than fighting Mayflower. I think Brook beats Thurman but it would be close.... It would be funny if Mayflower fights Brook instead of Khan though!!

Suddenly rhw division is exciting again with so many match ups that don't involve Floyd the toid Duck balls Maynever. So glad Maidana beat his ass because Maidana is a great mix in the fold even after Flamin' Haymon gets FloydRoid another gyp job on the cards. 2015 FloydRoid Klitchroid and Sucka FREE

                  PEDing Porter came up short

Great win for Brook. Didn't see him winning away from home, but excellent tactics. The worthy winner.

It sucks for Keith, but why would anyone want to fight him?

Khan vs Brook is definitely it.
