from ringside, i had porter winning but not by much. haven't seen it on tape yet and i don't plan to. brook really stunk out the joint with the holding and porter couldn't adjust. it was agonizing to watch.

8-4 Brook. Just rewatched it again, could even be 9-3.

Porter literally only won a couple of rounds because Brook didn't throw much. He landed some good bodyshots etc, but Brook hurt Porter every time he put a couple of punches together. Porter was dead tired and frustrated from round 5-6 and hardly won anything, not convincing anyway, after that.

Having watched it again, I felt it was an even clearer win for Brook than first and Porter didn't really have an answer for anything Brook brought to the fight.

The only round in the second half I think Porter had any real case for was the last round. He lost every other round in the second half of the fight.

I gave Porter the last round too. But it was very close either way.

the biggest problem I had with Porter, was that the rounds he won he didn't win convincingly. He shaded them with work rate.

Brook clearly won his rounds and his punches were much cleaner, crisper and had a larger effect on his opponent.

The draw card is abysmal. Rewatching the fight, which I know the judge doesn't have the benefit of, it is clear that Brook won the fight by some distance.

                116-112 Brook.

Perfect display of ineffective aggression from Porter. Porter is as mediocre as I thought whilst Brook is better than I thought.

Everything Porter was doing was ineffective, his inside work was getting smothered and was getting tagged cleanly on the inside. It wasn't like Porters work caused Brook to slow down in the fight much either.

I can see why someone would have it close if you watched it on a stream that wasn't so clear but I don't see how you could have Porter winning.

I still haven't watched it again but it's worth noting I streamed this fight on my phone, quality wasn't the best.
