Brook was a clear winner. I'm glad he didn't get robbed. Porter was being way overrated coming in and he looked very ragged in this fight.
How to did you score Porter vs Brook?

4-2 for Brook after 6? Weird. Even the British commentators had Porter up after 6.
Second half the fight Brook took over though I agree on that.Comment

117-111 for Brook.
I thought he pretty much shut Porter down (except for rabbit punches) and landed the cleaner, more effective punches. Brook's ring generalship was clearly better.
That being said, Porter is so relentless it wasn't an easy fight for Brook.Comment

I had it a draw, I basically had Steve Farhoods scorecard but I gave the first and last rounds to Porter. No way he won though, that's best case scenario for him. The first and last rounds were very close IMO.Last edited by Beater_of_ass; 08-16-2014, 11:55 PM.Comment

The British commentary was inept.
They were talking as of Brook needed a miracle in the final round and ended up scoring the fight to Porter.
They totally failed to acknowledge Brook's cleaner work.Comment

I think when they were talking about a miracle they were considering the American judges that they had mentioned before, they said numerous times it's gonna be hard for Brook to win a decision there (which I thought would have been the case too).Comment

I have it 116-112, Porter was not effective with anything, he was ok a bit with the bodypunches but then he stopped even though it was having an effect on Brook. Brook on the other hand was very effective with his jab and right hand, he was able to land a number of different punches and stun or hurt Porter a few times, Porter was also too wild and over hyperactive like he is on drugs or something.Comment

I don't understand how people like Jiim Watt can score points for windmill punches from the clinch that landed mostly on the back of the head...Porter landed about 5 good, clean punches all fight.
Brook done all the good work and dominated the championship rounds.Comment
