Porter tried everything and utterly failed. He got exposed as an aggressive imprecise fighter lacking boxing skills by a far superior technician. Period.

I figured that Porter was being overhyped. He beats Paulie Malignaggi (who was maybe a B fighter in his prime) and everyone started worshipping him like a god. That being said, it was a close fight though. Not sure either of these 2 fighters will make it to that elite level.

It wasn't just that he beat Paulie Malinaggi, he destroyed him, hurt him bad and took him out in 4 rounds. No one had ever done that to Paulie, and he's been in with great fighters.

This is why I expect the PED rumors to increase around Shawn Porter.

two simple words separated the winner ,from the loser-EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION.as a side note-the holding wasn't excessive,it was ,however effective. On the other hand the intentional headbutting by porter warranted a point deduction.THE RIGHT MAN WON.It wasn't a hard fight to score, just didn't trust the judges to see it the way an intelligent man would.

Well said ^^. Brook took everything that Porter gave and picked him apart with effective, poised, skilful boxing.

The right man won. Porter was content on coming in head first and wildly at that. I don't blame Brook one bit for tying him up so much.

I think Porter looked pretty terrible in this fight. The jab was non existent, all he tried to do was smother Kell and he failed to land anything clean, he closed the distance by rushing in and eating jabs all night. Kell landed the harder, cleaner punches and deserved the win. I didn't see anything too "Special" in Brook, I've been watching him for awhile and he's never really wow'd me but he did good tonight. Think a fight with Khan is a great move, or maybe Thurman or Provodnikov or someone like that he can probably win.
